MCS MEDICAL CELEBRATES INSTALLATION OF TENTH TORNOS DECO

Senior management at MCS Medical is celebrating the purchase and installation of a new Tornos Deco 2000 20a at the company’s headquarters in Redditch, Worcestershire. "This wonderful piece of equipment cost us £140,000 but it is worth every penny as it will increase our capacity to cater for demand for surgical screws, orthopaedic implants and dental implants," enthuses, Jim Gray, MCS Medical managing director.

"Medical technology is advancing at an ever-increasing pace and only those companies which are able to apply expertise allied to vision in production and design of complex components will succeed. The Tornos Deco 2000 20a is recognised across Europe as one of the preferred machines for the manufacture of small parts for surgical applications, where precision and stringent production in terms of safety and stability are essential. Our ability to meet such tolerance and quality-critical demands are shared by our parent company, MCS, which has built a reputation for engineering perfection over seventeen years." MCS Medical’s flexibility in production has led to it winning contracts in other areas of the healthcare market.

Sales Director, Warren Gray, adds: "The fact that we can produce components to such minute tolerances that they are suitable to be fitted into the human body has enhanced our reputation for precision engineering. That we can be relied upon for products critical to the maintenance and improvement of life highlights that we can meet any and all specifications, no matter how rigorous. Thus companies have confidence in placing their business with us, knowing that we have industry-leading engineers and industry-leading equipment."
